Iran-Bangladesh joint cinematic production is currently in development.
‘Nirvana’, an action flick produced and directed by Morteza Atashzamzam, began work a while ago and is currently going through the production phase.
Currently in the second half of the filming phase, the joint production has so far wrapped up shooting in Bangladesh and Afghanistan, and is currently being filmed in Iran.
According to a short description published on the flick, ‘Nirvana’ follows a police officer from Bangladesh, on a mission to save a group of fellow Bangladeshis from drug dealers smuggling illicit drugs from Afghanistan to Turkey and further to Europe.
In order to accomplish his mission, the police officer has to travel through all these countries as well as Iran while working with Interpol and Iranian police.
The action flick features actors from Iran, Bangladesh, and Lebanon, with other Iranian and foreign actors set to join the cast soon.
The Iranian cast members include the likes of Amir-Hossein Sediq, Kaveh Khodashenas, Hassan Aklili, Behrad Kharazi, Morteza Khanjani, and Mohammad-Reza Hedayati.
